This is the most shocking news on the internet today! In a massive recall, Sargento Foods Inc asked not to eat seven kinds of cheese which have a threat of potential contamination from listeria monocytogenes.
The illness reports due to consumption of these cheeses are not yet reported but company conveyed people to be conscious.
The main cause of listeria is consumption of contaminated food which consists of the infectious bacteria’s. It is estimated that each year around 1600 people gets infected due to this diseases and around 260 among die.
This bacteria is most harmful to newborns, pregnant women and old people. If you have a weak immune system then you are likely to suffer from these bacteria.
Sargento generally follows all the required process to maintain a good quality of products. The company is continuously in touch with their supplier and monitor the process from Middlebury, Ind.
Recently one of the suppliers of Sargento has notified that Longhorn Colby cheese supplied by them have a chance to be contaminated and thus it has to be recalled.

Rest all other products of Sargento are totally safe to consume and are not at all affected. Just avoid the use of the above-listed products until the company declares it is safe to purchase.
