Plants are very effective in filtering out toxic chemicals and pollutants in your home.

Based on the study done by NASA there are some specific types of plants which are a better performer in the function of removal of toxic chemicals from the air.

Trichloroethylene: Once inhaled this chemical leads to symptoms like excitement, headache, dizziness, vomiting, and nausea. In extreme cases, drowsiness and coma are also observed.

Xylene: This toxic gas can lead to confusion, headache, mouth and throat irritation. Due to too inhalation of this gas, one can suffer from liver and kidney damage, heart problems and coma.

Ammonia: Breathing this toxic fume leads to a sore throat, irritation, and coughing.

All these chemicals lead to various hazardous health issues. It is a shocking fact that thousands of people get killed every year due to air pollution.
